What are the benefits?

Due to popular demand from customers seeking a plant-based alternative to whey protein, we created Women’s Best Vegan Protein 2.0. Our mission was to develop a soy-free vegan protein powder with a creamy, milk-like texture, made entirely from plant-based sources, and delivering an incredibly delicious taste.

Studies show that many people fall short of the recommended daily fiber intake, which can disrupt gut balance and cause digestive issues. That’s why our 2.0 formula combines high-quality proteins for muscle building with essential fiber to support gut health. It also includes the patented DigeZyme® multi-enzyme complex, proven to enhance protein digestion and optimize absorption.

Meeting daily protein needs can be challenging for those active in sports or strength training. Women’s Best Vegan Protein 2.0 is designed for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and those who follow a vegan diet seeking to boost their protein intake. The formula also includes essential amino acids (EAAs) and branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) to support muscle growth and enhance recovery.

Protein is also essential for older adults, diabetics, and individuals with weight challenges. As the building blocks of the body, protein strengthens muscles, bones, skin, connective tissue, and cells while supporting hormone production and immune-boosting antibodies. Adequate protein intake helps prevent age-related muscle loss, enhances satiety, and improves body composition.

Getting enough daily vitamin B12 can be challenging in a plant-based lifestyle. That’s why our formula is enriched with this essential nutrient in its bioactive form. The vitamin B12 MHA Complex combines the three naturally occurring forms in the body—methylcobalamin (M), hydroxocobalamin (H), and adenosylcobalamin (A)—to ensure optimal absorption and utilization. It supports energy metabolism, reduces fatigue, and promotes a healthy nervous system, immune system, and psychological function.

With Women’s Best Vegan Protein 2.0, we’ve created a product tailored to the needs of a plant-based diet. Its unique blend of EAAs, BCAAs, bioactive vitamin B12 MHA Complex, fiber, and DigeZyme® supports muscle building, recovery, energy metabolism, and healthy digestion—all while offering an exceptionally creamy and delicious taste.

How do I take it?

Mix 1 scoop (32.5g) with 250ml of water or your preferred milk in a shaker. Shake well for 10 seconds. Adjust the liquid amount to suit your personal taste. A scoop is included in the container.

Nutrient deficiencies in a vegan diet.

A purely plant-based diet can present challenges in ensuring adequate intake of certain nutrients. Vitamin B12 is crucial, as it is rarely found in plant-based foods, making reliable supplementation essential. Iodine is also key, as studies, including an umbrella review, highlight its potential importance. Other nutrients that may be of concern in a vegan diet, according to the Dietary guidelines for Americans and the NHS, include calcium, iron, zinc, selenium, vitamin D, and possibly protein and long-chain omega-3 fatty acids.

With a vitamin B12 MHA complex.

Our vitamin B12 MHA Complex combines the three naturally occurring forms in the body: methylcobalamin (M), hydroxocobalamin (H), and adenosylcobalamin (A), collectively known as MHA. These forms are readily absorbed and utilized by the body without requiring conversion. MHA efficiently supports energy metabolism, aids nervous system function, and contributes to red blood cell formation. Its rapid and effective action makes it especially beneficial for preventing vitamin B12 deficiency.

DigeZyme® supports protein absorption.

Our formula contains the patented DigeZyme®—a multifunctional enzyme complex comprising five essential digestive enzymes. These enzymes aid nutrient absorption by breaking down carbohydrates, proteins, and fats into smaller, more easily absorbed components. This process is carried out by various enzymes found in secretions from the salivary glands, liver, and primarily the pancreas. The most important digestive enzymes include amylase (breaks down starch), protease (breaks down protein), and lipase (breaks down fat). Additional enzymes, such as cellulase (breaks down cellulose) and lactase (splits lactose, which is indigestible for many people), also play crucial roles.

DigeZyme® is derived through the fermentation of naturally occurring fungi and bacteria. This process ensures a well-balanced mix and high enzymatic activity of key digestive enzymes while being 100% plant-based.

The importance of protein in sports.

Proteins are vital for athletic performance and recovery. They help maintain and grow muscle mass, enhance muscle strength, and prevent the breakdown of the body’s own tissue (protein catabolism).

After training, proteins play a key role in repairing the microtears in muscles caused by exertion and building new structures—a process known as muscle protein synthesis.

But how exactly do proteins work in the body? They are made up of amino acids, which serve as the building blocks for muscle tissue, enzymes, and hormones. Essential amino acids, such as leucine, are particularly crucial for activating muscle protein synthesis. These amino acids not only promote recovery but also support the body during periods of intense physical activity.

The protein in our Vegan Protein 2.0 boasts an outstanding amino acid profile and high biological value. Additionally, it is easily digestible, making it an excellent choice for athletes and fitness enthusiasts, whether they follow a vegan or non-vegan diet.

The importance of protein in everyday life.

A protein-rich diet benefits not only athletes but also older adults, diabetics, and individuals managing their weight. Proteins play a crucial role in the body, serving as essential building blocks for muscles, bones, skin, connective tissue, and cells. They are also vital for producing hormones and antibodies, which support a strong immune system.

Adequate protein intake helps prevent age-related muscle loss, promotes feelings of fullness, and improves overall body composition—key factors for maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.

Health claims approved by EFSA:

  • Protein contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass.
  • Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass.
  • Protein contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.

The importance of protein in everyday life.

The importance of protein in aging.

Natural muscle loss begins as early as age 30. Without targeted countermeasures, such as regular strength training and adequate protein intake, the body loses approximately 3–5% of muscle mass per decade. Studies show that seniors consume about 26% less protein daily than younger adults—a shortfall that can contribute to sarcopenia, or age-related muscle loss.

For individuals over 60, protein requirements are roughly 20% higher than those of younger adults. This increase is due to the body's natural processes: old cells are continuously broken down and replaced, including in muscle tissue. However, with age, the body’s ability to generate new muscle cells diminishes. As a result, older adults need more protein to effectively support muscle maintenance and growth while counteracting muscle loss.
